Obagi Tretinoin Cream 0.1%
Obagi Tretinoin (anti-oxidant Vitamin A cream -- brand name Retin-A cream) improves the deeper collagen layer, by restoring health and thickness to this layer as well as improved blood supply. This results in smoother, firmer skin and helps eliminate fine wrinkles. Your skin will look and feel smoother and softer.
Obagi Tretinoin Cream 0.1% is the strongest concentration of tretinoin offered in a cream base and is fast acting, powerful and effective. It should be used only after the skin has been conditioned to the Obagi Tretinoin Cream 0.05% and should be used less frequently or discontinued if there is too much reaction to the product. This cream goes on smooth, is lightweight, and can help reduce the appearance and prevalence of acne breakouts, hyperpigmentation as well as the effects of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles. Obagi Tretinoin Cream 0.1% is especially useful for unsightly acne or wrinkles. Obagi Tretinoin Cream 0.1% stimulates the renewal and growth of healing skin cells and initial peeling of the skin is common. The end result is a smoother more radiant glow to the skin.
Important Note -- Tretinoin Cream 0.1% should only be used if you have previously conditioned your skin with Tretinoin Cream 0.05%.
How to Use Obagi Tretinoin Cream 0.1%: This is a prescription product. Please follow instructions carefully to avoid any harsh skin reactions. Wash with a mild, non-medicated cleanser. Do not scrub. Allow skin to dry to 20-30 minutes before applying Tretinoin. It is important for skin to be completely dry to minimize irritation. Apply Tretinoin Cream 0.1% every night with Obagi NuDerm Blender as directed by a physician. Use only half an inch of cream to spread over the face. Do not oversaturate the skin. Avoid the corners of the nose, mouth, eyes, and open wounds. If excessive peeling or irritation occurs, then reduce the use of Tretinoin Cream 0.1% to every other night alternatively with Tretinoin 0.05%. If redness, swelling, or irritation continues, discontinue using Tretinoin Cream 0.1% and continue using Tretinoin Cream 0.05%. Tretinoin takes time to work deep within your skin. Some discomfort or peeling may occur in early stages of treatment. Continue using Tretinoin Cream 0.1% and you should notice a significant improvement in 6 to 12 weeks.

Caution: Therapy with Tretinoin may make your skin more susceptible to sunburn and other adverse effects of the sun. Apply a sunscreen every morning after cleansing. Also, try to avoid excessive exposure to wind or cold.
